loved the read, but i just want to point out one quote for a quick laugh...

"...it is often said that the best players make their money not from cashes, but from top 3s, big wins, the times when they really had that Eric Gagne mentality and just shut out the competition."

This is motivating and uplifting, and I am going to try and make this something I read before each tournament, and at each moment in a tournament when I might feel like I'm losing my concentration... The will to be a champion is something that can be lost in the conversion between facing your competitor and looking them in the eyes and facing a virtual opponent online... We still need to find that champion inside us... thank you for this...

I think a poker champion is a poker champion...even if we talk about cash tables or great tournaments. My opinion is that on cash tables are making much money that on a tournament. Is true that on tournaments there are many great prizes. But is so difficult to be in top 3. There are isolated cases of great winnings...Anyway you're the PRO and maybe your opinion is the right opinion. Great association between baseball and poker.
