  1. 1st. Idk if I missed it, but it'd be nice if this article mentioned where players in NJ could only play other players in NJ..
  2. Are they saying that this bill would allow anyone in the US to play on NJ's "casino sites" because the business is not technically in the state the poker is being played in?

..or they won't need as big of a bill in subsequent states because of the reason stated above?

It will most likely start to become really confusing when the 2000 page bill for internet poker comes along.

I just hope they write the legislation in the people's best interest and not of those who are giving them money to fund their campaigns.

  3. I just hope that the interests of the people funding their campaigns are similar if not identical to our own.
  4. It seems New Jersey has, shockingly, realized the potential of adding a stream of tax revenue from internet gambling. I've read the proposal and it seems pretty solid and would definitely benefit us as poker players.
  5. gg stars and full tilt for NJ IP's the second this is passed and in action sigh

  8. This is intrastate and would most likely just be NJ players only when it finally gets passed.

  9. legislation is going to ruin online poker as we know it. i have been saying for a long time to be careful what you wish for. why you would want that joke of a government involved in online poker is beyond me,
