I'm not sure about the morality of the situation and really it's not my place to comment on it, as I was one of the lucky ones and had basically pennies on the site when it went down. But having pokers biggest star back online can't be bad over all. But he needs to stand face questions and give answers on the situation not to the media but to the people whom followed him and trusted the site because his name was plastered all over it. I hope it is him, but after BF, I'm not sure if many of these players like Fake Love888 and RaiseOnce are going to make their identities known any time soon unfortunately.

"Meanwhile, the discussion critiqued whether Ivey should be playing high-stakes games on pokerstars (if RaiseOnce is indeed him) after the site was declared a “global Ponzi scheme” by the U.S. Department of Justice and still owes players nearly $400 million. To that end, one poster asserted, “People have every right to be angry over Ivey playing. The specifics of who knew what are far from certain, but many people lost life-altering money on that damn site.” Excellent reporting skills moron. Have you ever played online poker before?? Should be banned from writing any more articles.

I thought pokerstars paid up in full and the DOJ called Fulltilt a "global ponzi scheme", not stars.

Phil Ivey FTP Divorce Galfond = Uber tilt? Just sayin.

the fact that FTP is no longer online and ivey is no longer promoting the site. WHY is it a bad thing for him to be playing on another site???......after his promoting job was simply ripped away from him along with everyones money they had on FTP ....and i realize that people have rules to follow but if the site aint up does he still have to sit around and do nothing?

Agree with this. I mean I don't personally remove all culpability from Ivey. He did have intimate access to Full Tilt for years. But I think it's a bit of a stretch to suggest that there's some sort of moral issue with him continuing to play poker in other venues
