    This looks great. I just went down to Costa Rica with another similar service and it's been 10 days and my stars account isn't open yet, and also I guess there isn't a real way to cash out at my bank for more than $1500/month. So once my stars account gets opened, I might have to do this service instead and try to move to Canada where I can actually spend the money I earn.

    Hopefully this will make some sort of impact on our government. Seeing American dollars leave the country is a good start for motivation.

    Apparently you are at the wrong bank or have your account set up wrong. Anything over 5k a month coming into your account you have to have an accountant fill out a form explaining where the funds are coming from.

    Actually if you do not have what is referred to as an "orden patronal" in CR, which is a formal statement from your employer, you need a letter from an accountant. So essentially that goes for all independent contractors or people who are self-employed. When law firms or other companies set up accounts in bulk or without consulting the needs of their client, they usually do so with a low monthly transaction limit because it's easier to set up so that's probably what happened here.

    For all those thinking of Canada it ain't no picnic here and being on the doorstep of the US brings problems such as a bunch of conservatives trying to be like your republicans. We also have some of the highest priced, slowest connection speeds and overly controlled internet. We also enjoy high priced cell phone with the worst rates in most of the world. You can look both of those facts up easily on google.
    Don't get me wrong. There are some pluses to living here, but you really have to know all the facts.
