-

this is soooo dumb, its just saying, break the rules, but if u know the right people, u can come back, what a fucking joke

Once a cheater all ways a cheater ..

I dont like my name being used in this article.. It was used without my permission.. I stand by what I said. But I dont like that my name is the name used as the dissenting opinion. For two reasons.. 1.. No one cares what I think. And 2. It was done without my permission.

-

Bonomo is a cheater. The only reason he regertes it is because he got caught. I dont agree with this decision at all it dosnt send a good message to other cheaters.I dont really see how this benefits pokerstars...Bad move!

he's been banned long enough and more than paid for it. let him play. he could just play anomysly if he wanted, so why not let him play in the open. there has been no evidence of him doing anything wrong in the last 3 years. Others, who have continued to show no remourse or reform, well that is another story. gl justin

When does NioNio get to come back? Oh, wait...

If he truly feels sorry then he should suck it up and suffer playing on titanpoker, redkings, and fortunepoker.

-

AFink, at least they corrected your spelling.

-

This is bull I have a friend that was banned on pokerstars and if they do not let him get his account back then there should be some people very angry in the poker world

-

Hes young . He fuked up. He was man enough to not go hide but put himself in the public eye an become an asset to poker. He contributes credible and personal poker insight to the general public. The kids as stand up as any man whos done wrong and wants too make it right. He gets too play folks. Lets watch and enjoy. Empty your closet or leave the kid alone.

When this first happened, I was on the side that JB should never be allowed back. I stand by it, unless, Poker stars makes it equal for everyone. There should no longer be a lifetime ban for MAing. They must now write what steps JB, and anyone else who gets caught MAing can/must take to regain membership to their site. Just as you can't make an example of someone by banning a select few, you can't take the opposite approach and let a select few back. Allowing JB back doesn't affect me one way or the other. It's PS's site, they can make the rules on the penalty for getting caught. All I'm saying is it must be the same for everyone.

I don't have a problem with letting him come back;however, they need to make sure this isn't a double standard.

-

In prison, you get a chance to have a reduce sentence base on good behavior. Bonomo regards what he did, is sorry for it and wish he could take it all back. Some people deserve a second chance. I have no problem with Poker stars decision. I personally welcome back Justin to the online poker felt and wish him luck in all his future endeavors.

-

Why do they assume he was on good behavior.

-

Obama will solve teh problems.

-

I have no problem with him coming back, but there's more to this. He's a Bodog pro. Do you think stars let him back without without him pushing for it? Obv not, so why is he now wanting membership with Stars? Does he know sometning about Bodog that we dont? Is Stars gonna eventually make him one their pros? Something more is afoot here imo...

I think it was PS's decision, so it's pointless to argue (But hey we love to argue don't we?). Very few of can resist temptation 100% of the time. I defiantly thought of multi-accounting, but in all honesty I had no idea it was such a bad idea. However I am a rank amateur, and was really looking to advance my chances of winning. I didn't look at it as cheating, but that's what it would have been. My issue is that if this guys that good, why did he need to multi-account? If you feel that strongly about it, don't play on PS and encourage others to do the same. Well that's the American way...I think.

-

Do the Brick & Mortars lift bans on cheaters? Just curious.

-

This is a mistake by pokerstars. In an unregulated industry reputation is king. Stars by letting a known cheater back on there site regardless if he is repentant or not hurts their reputation. PokerStars is the industry leader, to stay there, to keep attracting new customers they need to show that cheating will not be acceptable and doing so will result in them taking every action possible to keep there honest customers safe and the cheaters away.

In addition, Pokerstars is the example on how to run a successful on-line poker business and as such they need to show other sites (cough 'UB' cough) by example how cheaters will be treated now and in the future. They should have stood by there guns and not let ZJ back.

-

pokerstars have opened themselves up for an ass raping on this one! What does Pokerstars get outta this???? doesnt make sense??? Something stinks about this!!!!!!

-

Valid points p5ers. Lets wait and see if this is just much ado about nothing. What does pokerstars get from this? Its a very valid question. Ill be interested too see what happens in the near future.

-

I think this sets a bad precedent. Nothing against him personally, but there are bigger issues at stake than just Justin. Everyday I get asked by people "is internet poker legit?" I like to believe it is for the most part, but when the industry leader lets a known cheater back on their site it just sends the wrong message..... imo.
