    Any idea on how long it could take to earn 1k in rake playing .50/1.00 for around 2 hours a day 2 tables?

    It would take about 360 table hours to rake the 1,200 hands necessary to reach $1k rake at .5/$1 stakes.

    If you play 2 tables for 2 hours that session would equate to 4 table hours. It would take 90 of these sessions to complete the task... I would suggest taking your tables from 2 to 4 at a time and trying to get 3 hours in per day. This would make it possible to finish the $1k raked hands in about 1 month rather than 3 months
