4.
It is imo extremely draining trying to combine work/spouse/kids with playing poker regularly while expecting it to generate somesteady income.

 5.
Nice article.

I have job, wife, & 3 school age kids. I play 5-6 nights a week on Cake and I do OK. I coach soccer, baseball and am on the boards of each of those youth leagues.

I know this sounds like a brag post, but I wanted to affirm grapsfan point. Find a schedule that works for your situation and stick to it. I start at 9pm when the kids go to bed and quit between 12-1 am. I occasionally play earlier on Sunday, but not if I am going to miss a family event.

If poker is your hobby, keep it in it's place. I love playing poker, but there is much more to life than Iron Man & VIP status.

 6.
I've only known of Pocketfives.com for about a year and have only been a member for a couple of months. I've read and heard hundreds of archived articles and blogs on this site, and this is definitely not only one of the best, but also most important and true that I've come across. I believe ALL players can benefit from this article, in poker and in life.

Thank you for sharing this with us, God bless.
