2.
its about that time all

 3.
Why didn't they include tournament hands? Pretty obvious that a majority of cash game hands are won without showdown

 4.
Yes...do a study on mtts and we are all screwed prolly. Lets just leave it to cash games to get this regulated!

 5.
It's a joke of a study if they didnt include MTT's and only did cash games.

 6.
This is a great study. I wonder if the credibility of the study will be called into question because pokerstars conducted it.

Cash games are a pure form of poker, and it's okay that they used only cash games for the study. I hope that doesn't lead some idiot to believe that cash games are skill and MTTs are luck (lol)

In any event, it's pretty obvious that poker, in any form available, is a game of skill.

 7.
True...people care more in cash about losing the money in front of them...plz run the study on mtts when ppl don't give a s**** and see how many hands win what.

On a serious note, they prolly didn't do mtts cuz more factors are involved...blind structure, money jumps, etc....so test would be innaccurate.

 8.
Is it just me or does anyone else find it disgusting that in our "free" country we have to create 100m sample size reports to determine if a GAME is skill or not to give us more ammunition to fight against allowing Americans to play a game they choose.

 9.
Title should read: Texas Hold'em is still a game of skill.

 10.
Then why do I never win?

 11.
Because you are not skilled?

 12.
genius.

 13.
so thats why i was doomswitched all of december....
