  16. Yeah, one of the better poker articles I've read for a while. Definitely had me wondering whether I suck or not. Should I not be open shoving light with 12 bb's against mediocre opponents?

  22. Very good article - well-written, great read, very informative!!

    tks alot!!!
  23. I like the article as well. The only thing I would disagree with is your pushing of AA (overpushing) and getting called by 1010. Your saying this works because, early on, players can't imagine themselves pushing AA. That can be part of it, but part of it as well is that a lot of bad (or overly aggressive?) players open push hands like 55, A9, J10s in these things (I've seen all these), along with AA/KK. So, if it's early, most players are viewing you as a random (especially if multi-tabling), and will call, since 1010 plays very good against a precieved range, and doubling up early is great for getting deep). So, I think many good players make these calls, and then make a note on you when your showing up with only the premiums in these spots (though, how often will you see the same pusher early in a MTT if you only play 20 a week and the guy is only pushing AA/KK)?

Just my thoughts, very interesting article. Something that, if someone asked me how to get good at poker, this would be on my reading list for them.
  24. Yeah I think that's a good point lord. I've certainly been the guy calling with the TT more than a couple times, lol. My general plan these days when i see the monster overshove and have a hand like TT is to look the player up and fold if they're a reg, but call if not. I've only seen regs jamming light in spots like this on veeery rare occasion.
