Reason: title was wrong -
what did you have tho? raise more pre
-
Lol is this a joke?
-
ok lol i had AdAc.
-
button is so loose aggressive that he limps an unopen pot on the button.
play worse please.
AA raise to 5 bucks? why don't you just minraise if you want to play dumb -
2 limps and you made it $5 OOP, i think i make it $12 min. And i might be wrong but surely if you're checking the flop you're CR'ing?
-
this is a live 1-2? if so 5bucks pre heh
-
Is this your first time playing live? Not being a dick, seriously asking. $10-$15 is a very standard raise pre in 1/2 live games. Nobody actually 3-4x raises, and certainly not 2.5, except for the people that have suited connector type hands and just want to build a pot.

Edit: and fwiw, you are NEVER ahead in that hand. I'm not sure which street you ended up being behind on, but at the river, i assure you, AA is no good. -
Might be the worst played hand in the history of poker. I honestly don't think a monkey could have played it worseeven if he didn't look at his cards.
-
obv shove ATC here.
-
my bad i know i look stupid but i meant 1-1 game not 1-2 thats y i raise to 5.. sorry about that ill try to be clear next time. I just play 1/2 usually and thats why i put that in header
-
ok i'll try and offer some constructive advice...
as many have already said, rasie more pre. $12-$15 would be a good amount. this way you build the pot and seeing as you only have 65bb's you should be more than happy to bet and get it all in.
you're play would actually not be that bad if you were deeper, atleast 100bb's. IF you were deeper, than yes there's nothing wrong with check calling hoping for blanks. however on this occasion the flush draw hits on turn, and river adds the possibility of a straight. the scare cards hit so its wise to just fold and move on. -
Give him a break he's clearly new with posting hands ffs. Edit your post and put your hand in the subject jazz. Preflop make it 7-11$ range based off how you feel about the players left to act. The worse they are the more you should raise to isolate with your stack. A standard bet/bet to build the pot and get it all in is optimal in the game your playing probably. Otherwise betting the flop and check raising the turn all in is your next best option. The board might look scary and your probably looking for all the hands that beat you but there are just as many if not more that you beat and wont want to fold that think they might have value or drawing to your bets, but you should have your stack all in on the turn basically. As played folding the river is fine, you beat nothing and can easily find much better spots to put money in the pot in those games.
Editing your post title and post is necessary though especially if your looking for ok advice and new to posting. -
Thanks Gfactor. I might just start a new post all together.
