  1. Live 1/2 game at the local poker room, folded to me in middle pos, I raise AdAh to $12, one of the blinds calls me (some woman playing any ace any face) what's your play on the flop? Flop comes 3 diamonds all rags, something like 742. Woman checks what do you do? She's got about only $55 in front of her, I have her easily covered.

    Thanks
  2. make it $15-$20
pick up a small pot or insta call her $35 more.
  3. ask for a count and then check.
  4. What is there to think about? You should be trying to get it all in. Whether it be bet about half her stack, on the flop and then get the rest in on the turn. Or if you think she'll bluff off if you check behind on the flop, then you can proceed that way. Without any reads on her being aggressive/passive, I would make a smallish c-bet on the flop, and hope she comes over the top.
  5. I think this is a real tough spot...and I will need further information including meta game influences to really advise you.
  6. Pot sized bet or Alll in
  7. Bet $18 call shove. If she flats put the rest of it in on the turn. Is there any easier spot in poker than this?
  8. obv she is way more solid player than u snap muck
  9. Bet $20 then either snap call her shove or put her in on the turn.

fwiw this was meant from the peanut gallery.
  11. bet $5
  12. just say "damn bitch are you too poor to buy in for 200$" then shove; you get called every time if the lady actually isn't too poor to buy in for 200, but also appear as a total piece of shit. depends if 50$+asshole image > douchyness+self degradation.

  13. fwiw you were included in the "idiot" group. I posted to see how we can extract max from villain. Obviously I'm not at the elite stature of the rest of the P5 "members" to post in here for feedback on some basic hands, hence why this site is a joke and the "other" sight actually has real discussion. Wanted to see if a check would have been in order.

  14. Bet $3. Ultimate value bet she will call guaranteed.
  15. lol at all the haters. its actually a somehwat interesting spot. its completely uninteresting if dont have the Ad, but u do. flop move - pro's to betting ar ebuilding the pot, getting value out of a lower diamond draw, getting her to check raise you with top pair. pros to checking behind are inducing a bluff, allowing her to hit her potential diamond draw, or allowing her to hit a pair on the turn. i bet just to try to build the pot, plus she doesnt sound aggro enough to bluff w/air on turn. this isnt as straightforwad as everyone thinks

the point here is you dont need to protect ur hand, which is oftentimes one of the main reasons you bet at any pot (besides value). this spot is like have ak on a k72 rainbow board. why bet? only thing u are getting value out of is a worse k, or mid pocket, and you will most likely get that on turn and riv anyways. plus checking behind gives benefits of inducing a bluff, opponent catching a piece (but not too much) and deception that you dont have the k.

Thank you sir. One of the 2 or 3 only replies that actually breaks down the situation. Exactly what I said afterwards, there was no major worry to "bet to protect".

  17. But it's not really an interesting spot at all. Bet/Call flop. Or just get it in on any turn or any river.
