    It has been close to 399 years of a drought so I only have another year left....whewwww

    I swear I almost cried when I read that article....Just to know players out there are going threw what I am makes me feel a little better,(sad to say).

    This low-limit donkey agrees completely. I've been in a slump all week and it's a bummer. I played an MTT yesterday where I saw 1 flop outside the blinds out of 57 hands before having to push with a marginal hand to bust. In another today I was 2 out of 43 seeing flops. Totally card dead, losing every race.....we've all been there and that's where I am now.

    Normally I try to satie into the stars Sunday $215 a couple times per week, but this week i'm not going to even bother. Maybe tomorrow...we'll see.

    I agree, I hope he got paid for this. He was asking me to back him in the $4 180 man SNG yesterday. I thought he was joking!!

    Yeah, it is great timing for me. I have been on an awesome roll since I started playing real money, and just this week I have hit a huge downfall. I have lost just about all the money I have bought into in every cash game for the last few days, and if I bubble another SNG I am going to go crazy. Good to know I am not alone...

    lol, best part of the article was the part about being reduced to winning small pots by continuation bets on the flop. I often go through huge droughts where I can't flop anything and I feel like I have to play rags to even hit anything.

    I agree with everyone here. Incredible article that describes my current slump to a "T":

    --I haven't flopped a mid set in ages (at least one that hasn't run into a gutshot straight draw)
    --I never get any premium hands (I might get 1 in the course of a tourney and it only steals the blinds).
    --I never win any dominating situations.
    --My only hope to win pots is my continuation bets.
    --I haven't hit a flop w/ AK in lord knows how long (then again, I wasn't hitting w/ AK even when I was running good. I dont know how anyone considers it a premium hand)
    --If I hit a flop, I'm in second place and probably drawing dead.

    I've never seen my slump described so perfectly. Great job.
