Come on guys, get off your lazy grinding asses today and make a call or send an email to your State Rep who is attending about HR 2267 being voted on tomorrow. We as poker players are too lazy in this matter and really need to take advantage of these opportunities to continue our lifestyle. You can call and send the email without moving away from your screen, and it really does help. Below are the links, lets step up for once and make our voices heard in the least...its takes all of 30 seconds.

so u guys know what HR2267 is all about? because i have no idea, but if regulation of online poker means the same thing that happened in france I am not so sure i would want to support it, im sure uncle sam will fuck it up some how

I've sent many emails, made several phone calls over the years and
even joined the PPA. I think the main reason there seems to be less
enthusiasm regarding protecting our rights as poker players lately is
because after supporting many organizations, groups and potential
bills that might help us, it seems like we're no better off than we were
years ago.
I have no problem taking a few minutes out of my boring life to send
an email to support any bill that might actually help all poker players,
but it seems that every few months we hear about the "next one" being
the one that will right the wrongs and in the end we get sent back to
square one. I think the majority feel like what's going to happen, right
or wrong is going to take place and they lose interest.
Just my opinion. -

I have called and e-mailed Dennis Moore before and have just done so again, he is poker-friendly and can be counted on for support.

what are the possible outcomes for tomorrow -
Got a telemarketing call about this and lady connected me to my congressman and I ket them know that I AM FOR HR 2267

Ok guys, its looks like HR 2267 markup is going to be pushed back till tommorow...........one more day it now gives us to call your appointed committee member and let them know how you want them to vote on this.........lets get it done, 30 seconds is all it takes
Best case scenario for tomorrow it seems is that that we pass through markup and add caveats like (loss limit) etc... that gain support for our bill, while not hurting our cause. -
Any word on what happened with this today?
