  3. welcome to Omaha...a game for those who love inflicting pain on themselves.
  4. i assumed that no raise preflop meant no one would have AA...

    WRONG
    WRONG

  5. LOL, I went out about 10 places after so don't feel to bad, although this was my FIRST omaha tourney, trying to also figure out how I didn't split the pot, I thought we both had a full house, 9's full of sevens ?

  6. A big flop raise almost always represents the nuts(95) or 55 in this situation. If you think he's already made a boat, you have a slimmer chance of drawing out since you have an over pair (2 outs compared to 6).

If I don't have the lead in a pot like this i'm going to fold most of the time. In an omaha mtt I want to know my opponents a little better before I call my chips off like this (any player is capable of making this bet with 95 or 55, but many players aren't going to make this bet without one of those hands) If im going to call I want a better hand like akq9, and a better understanding of the player who is making the bet.
  7. no split because you HAVE to play 2 cards in your hand, your 9 only makes trips
  8. lol, you have to play 2 cards from your hand and 3 on the board, no more no less
  9. Ah, I'm tired, you guys think he should've been in the hand in the first place, yeah he's suited, yeah he's got some connectors....I guess that qualifies for Omaha.

  12. hey man, i played the Omaha trnys on stars on the weekend a lot...... keep your head up. Its gonna take a lot of practice at this game .

I wouldnt of been in the hand with that crap ( J 95 ..?) as its not a hand you want to get involved in IMO. Its too early and there's a MUCH better chance you'll see plenty of playable hands later. From my experience , he should of waited for a better hand , but he's a donk .
    Whadda ya gonna do......

** love the no antes in Omaha trnys .......
