  1. Basically is this just a standard line or do others play this differently ? Villain was like 10 / 14 but basically always raised something if folded to them. I'm just wondering if I'm being a nit not raising this? The only things to really worry about are a 2 in the villains hand or a flopped set.

But is the line bad? How many people would throw a little $2 river value bet out and just call any raise? I think i was being a a nit on the river. If I bet out $2 and get raised to $6 I call. If they have my beat fine. If they shove my $2 I obviously fold.

  5. I really hate the min raise pf by villan. I think this was played fine, looking at this I have no clue what this guy might have the way it was played. 99 makes sense but unlikley, his check behind you on the flop I feel shows hes weak. Then his raise on the turn is some attempt to pick up the pot from you thinking you are weak or a semibluff with straight/flush draws. I do like checking the river to induce a bluff or to minimise your loss if you are up against straight/set. You could raise 2 on the river, but you will not get more money from him unless you are beat. I think this was played as good as possible with the info given.
  6. Bet flop, reraise turn, flat call as played--- he could have a straight, but he could also have 996456425634 other hands that you beat and that he'd play for value at these limits.
  7. your line is rly good, i take the same line and snap call river

edit: yeah i misread hh, i thought you bet $1 on the turn and he flatted. i agree with rr turn for value as he likely has Ax or a worse 2pair (although i would say air makes up like 60% of his range at this point lol). if he calls your rr i would def lead river and call any rr
  8. The line you took in the hand is pretty bad imo. Reraise turn for value. By flat calling the reraise oop, your hand is extremely tough to get value with on the river. You'll make a lot more money in the long run by changing your turn decision here.

Edit: It seems as though you called the turn w/o any sort of plan for what to do on the river. You can't possibly be afraid of a set on the turn as he has numerous draws, worse two pairs, and air in his range
