6 handed, i start with 100k in chips, 4 other stacks have 60-80k and chip leader has 140k... blinds 1500/3k i open to 8225 with QQ, ive opened a lil more than the others, but not a bad image...the bb calls with about 80k. flop is 235 and he leads out 12k, with 62k behind.....how do you guys play qq here? i decide that his lead out is complete air or a hand trying to find out where he's out like 77, 88, 99...so i decide to flat to win a big bet off of him on the turn, or make him commit the pot n stack him....the turn brings the death 6....so its 235, 6 now...and he leads 21k...leaving himself 40k. Now what do ya'll do here? I'll post my thoughts n what i did in about 15 mins

You could jam on the flop. It would look weaker than if you raise his bet like 3x or something. He may decide that you could have AJ+ in your hand and make a call with 77-99, it is also possible that he wanted to see a flop with TT or JJ before putting any money in and would for sure call here. But that depends on him and his style of play. Flatting is not bad to try to earn an extra bet on a later street, but I prefer: jamming>flatting>3 x'ing>.....folding????? I think that on the turn you should jam. He could very well continue to take this line with 77-99, but I wouldn't expect to get called very often by anything that you beat.
-
if you put him on 77-99, then itd be fine to just get it in on the turn. but then again, if i had a good feeling a guy had an overpair to the board there, I think its much easier to get in all the chips on the flop considering nobody was really that deep, and so many cards could come on the turn that bother me
-
I think you go with your initial read of mid pocket pair and push.

According to the pokerdb. Mrcasino hasnt played a tournament on stars since 9/12/2008. Kind of odd if you look at papaharkin db too, plays nothing but high stakes since 9/13/2008. Just a thought....
-
mrcasino on stars plays nearly every single day of 2008 until september 12th, mid wcoop, when he decided, "meh, really feel like a prolonged break"
papaharkin on stars, who had played A GRAND TOTAL OF TEN DAYS UNTIL MID SEPTEMBER DURING THE WCOOP IN 2008, played the 10th, 11th, 13th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th , 19th, 20th, 21st, 23rd, 24th, and 25th of september, and then the 3rd, 4th, 6th , 7th 8th, 9th10th, 11th, 12th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th and now the 31st of october.
the tenth, both plays played the 300 PLO wcoop , but overlapping since then appears sparse.
highly coincidental...maybe he just has a twin? well, maybe another?
jj's prolly crackin a big ol' smile, something to finally top the gbmantis ablackcar bragpost.

what kind of logic is that? narrow minded disbelief under all circumstances logic? why would he post saying he will answer as to what HE did?

But at the same time the whole irony of all this is funny.
As a wise man named Homer Simpson once said..."D'oh!" -
