    i think the first one is fine or am i a nit for folding? I think i really messed up the second one by not reraising, but sb caller is relativly tight

    Charbarj41(19365 in chips) [9d 9c] << Fold here is not unreasonable. Early position raise usually indicates strength, and you have 6 players behind. A lot of uncertainty to get through. Middle pair is nothing very favorable, caught in the middle.

    I disagree on hand 1. You are really deep and are getting more than 2-1 with 99 and have position on the raiser. You are playing for a set and the 1000 call is not a lot for you. Very tight fold in my opinion. You cannot win a tourney by only playing premium hands or waiting to be the raiser. Once you raise, you will get no action. I would have called and dumped on the flop.

    Hand 2 was well played.
