and im not busto. I started with $5 bucks from a freeroll and have used proper bankroll manegment and got it up to $153. Not anything big but its more of a pride thing.
Big thanks to the Poker strategy archives and some of the posts here that ive learned from. -
Congrats ! must of took a lot of discipline
-
Congrats. Keep it up and move up levels slowly. Once you do get up a few levels, you will be very well prepared from the 1000's of SNGs you've played.

Nice work.

and BR management FTW -
yes pokerstradegy has some excellent free programs to help you train, just have to watch who you listen to in there :)
Most success i have had has come from studying the game as hard as I can reading current books, watching video's and taking alot of bits and pieces from 2+2 and pocket fives.
I do owe alot to the online community for helping train me to the way of the online world.
You should do fine if and when you reload or win your next freeroll for a few bucks. -
what sng's and on what site did you play to use proper brm with only $5?
-
i first used 50 fpp in the US vs Canada thing and placed which gave me the $5 bucks. I play on stars, did the $1 sngs, moved up to the $3. Tried cash games but lost about $50 bucks.

That most deffinately is not BRM, with $5 you would be playing the 0.9c+0.1c sng's on doylesroom for proper BRM and grind them up to the next levels.

Anyway well done and good that its working out for you. -
hmmm cornfused here
-
It's not difficult to understand, OP said he used proper BRM, when infact he didn't as he had $5 and brought into $1 sng's, using the proper BRM of 50 buy-ins for sng's then he should of been playing 10c games and pokerstars doesnt have them but doylesroom does.
I'm not trying to be an ass or a smarty pants, I hope now that I raised the question and highlighted his BRM isn't proper he wont go and blow his BR on buying into higher priced games without using the 50 buy-in rule.
