  2. 3bet pre, your hand is seriously under-repped. As played I probably just vomit on my keyboard and time out, but if you 3-bet pre, the rest of the hand will be much easier to play.

  3. 3-betting pre is bad, you have to fold to a 4-bet and the range that calls or shoves has you crushed. Call the flop and see what he does on the turn, you have enough chips to play some poker here.
  4. EZ FOLD
  5. I like the flat call pre. No real reason to reraise and build a big pot only to have 2 overs hit the flop. Here, I'm raising to 750-825 or so. If he pushes to your reraise I call here, he prob has 2 overs imo

  6. Flat pre is the only legitimate option. As played I'm probably gonna call here and reevaluate on turn. If he pots again I just fold.

just delete that post b4 anybody reads it...

    he is clearly WB/SA here

edit: actually 2 overs/FD is not SA, its def SB. So he is never ahead here

We're really deep here. He's not shoving for 3600 if we 3bet to 360, and if he happens to do that, we only lose a small % of our stack. If we 3-bet and he does call, we have control of the hand and can c-bet the flop to put the decision on him - He has to believe we have 99-AA with that line. I feel like when you flat pre here, you invite one or both of the blinds in and don't define your hand vs. the UTG raiser. Since he opened UTG, he could easily be repping the big overpair when he in fact has 2 overs, or something like 77. As played I probably flat here and see what he does on the turn, yes, but he could put us on something like JTss if we do that, and could continue to fire with AK/77 or something on the turn, where you'd have to fold. I personally like to force the other person to make the difficult decisions but what do I know..?

  9. I think a flat pre flop is definitely the best play because we are trying to play a pot with a good hand in position. No need to bloat the pot pre flop or give our opponent the option to 4 bet us off tens here. Even if we are crushed we can make such reads for a relatively small amount post flop and if we do happen to flop a set we can potentially stack an overpair. On the flop I think you can call here hoping he shuts down but if he fires again on the turn it has to be a fold. I know it seems like a weak line but if you are never getting outplayed in this spot you are going to go broke far too often IMO.
  10. This thread has terrible advice in it. Def don't 3 bet pre. On the flop it's def read dependent. If he hasn't gotten out of line yet and you have no other reads you can probably not it up and fold. Idk, I don't hate flatting the flop and folding to a second barrel
