  1. Villain is a reg and his opening range is wide here. It seems like a clear check-raise-get it in spot on the flop, however how well am I actually doing vs his range for c-betting and flatting my check-raise? Not too much history apart from a spot earlier on where I opened the button, and 4bet-folded vs his bb 3bet and 5betshove... so he knows that I'm capable of being aggressive. Normally I would just chalk it up to a cooler but I think he is checking back on the flop for pot control with his medium strength hands and draws, and when he bets and flats my c/r he has to be super strong, although maybe since stacks are so shallow I should still bet-get it in vs that range? Thoughts?

  2. Verse an agress reg I think Im 3b a ton here with this hand cause flattin is somewhat bad cause he's gonna own u alot with weaker hands. As played pre, I prefer leading these flops cause it widens your precieved range and a competent player will probably come over the top alot and then u can pretty much play for stacks flop. As played it looks like mcc actually woke with a hand cause he prob reships it with a big flush draw and doubt he's comin along with 1p. He could have a pair combo hand but he prob reships flop. I prob c/s turn but I cant hate a b/c either. Im probably not gettin away from this even tho it looks like mcc somehow flopped the goods.
  3. Saw the villain in the thread title (KK+ McCorkell) and immedietly thought yes :)

In all seriousness here though I would checkraise to get it in this shallow but once he flats my check raise I would check fold but hope that he let me get to showdown. I think he is so nutted when he flats your check raise on the flop on this board texture and the turn is obviously bad for you as you now lose to flopped sets and a5 with the Ac, by this point in the hand you probably only beat big pairs with clubs and these hands will probably he happy to check it down figuring that betting is pointless.
  4. lol moor a run beats three of a kind last i checked

NigDawg was referring to Moorman saying, "as you now lose to flopped sets and a5 with the Ac". A run does beat A5 with Ac last time i checked.

  8. i dont think i like flatting pre. 3b or fold. and 3b/calling kinda sucks, as does 3b/folding...
