  2. fold
  3. call and win so you can have an edge on the FT with a larger stack and target the shorties

  5. fold and wait for a premium.
  6. I mean I guess, technically, folding is right, but fuck it, jam, see if he will fold AQ.
  7. If 'technically' folding is right, why would you do anything else?
  8. i say get it in. the structure in those are so wack. blinds get to big very fast. i think his range is very wide open. maybe weak a. q j suited something along those lines i think its an instant jam
  9. 3 bet. Shoving seems excessive. Folding seems nitty. Flatting and playing oop is foolish. I'd say 11876 and flip a coin if your gonna call a shove or not.
  10. 88 is ahead of his button opening range. I would 3bet/call based on that but I suck at 180s.

  11. I am Getting this in if hes raised a few times before. I am folding if he hasn't. 42k is straight even at like BB 5000 with 5 ppl left. While these do go bye fast theres no hurry JUST yet. But again if hes been even semi active im gonna assum he is folding to a 3bet alot.

  12. fold

  13. 1. Do a quick sharkscope check, see that he's got 2% roi

    2. 3 bet to 11,700 / fold to shove

but that's me. Like, a barely profitable player is usually not making a move on you in this spot, so 88 doesn't play well against his 4bet shove range. But it does play well against a good agressive player, so 3bet/call vs good players imo

  14. i was surprised to see so many people advocating a fold because imo it is a pretty easy shove . You are nearing the final table and as a big stack the villian is likely to be raising very wide from the button so your 88 figures to be well ahead of his range . i agree that shoving is a little on the excessive side but i still think that it is fine.

  15. Shoving to a button raise with 27bbs in a sng is too aggressive. Obviously +cEV, but that doesn't mean it's optimal. We have a pretty healthy stack and I wouldn't advocate shoving.
  16. just lol
  17. im raising.
  18. 12345/call jam and win the flip

  20. I think that you should shove. I'd def puss out though.

  21. fold
  22. unless i read the HH wrong:

-You are 6 handed with a top ten hand.
-Big stack is abusing the nits trying to FT
-this is a turbo 180 with fast blinds and a weak field.
-six handed, folded to the big stack on the button, can't villian's opening range be ATC?

you can really fold here? not me.....

with the dynamics (6 handed, 12 remaining, folded to the big stack who raises from the button), i think i would shove 88 and 3b/f with ATC. do you have any reason to believe he isn't straight stealing?

i mean, seriously, if you can't defend your blinds short-handed with a top ten hand, wtf do you defend them with?

  23. What did you feel like doing in the moment? Go with your heart son!
  24. 3b/call...but not thrilled about it.
  25. fold AINEC
  26. no way are people really this nitty? not been in PD for ages. folding here is beyond retarded in my mind. And Lol at the guy saying shoving is +ev but its still correct to fold. Im gonna load one of these badboys up right now if this is how the players in them think :)

Do what you think is right IMO. I fold here and have made plenty in these. Hell, I had a shark swimming next to my name on those for a while. Even after some downswing I think I have a 30% ROI.

Edit: Well I call sometimes but def. make some laydowns that others wont.

  29. i cant understand the logic of anything other than shuving. r/f is terrible with your stack, so is flatting oop, and finally its a 6 handed button raise on the ft bubble. i mean come on everybody tries to build a stack here how can you fold 88 when finishing anywhere other than 1st or 2nd is pretty much a waste of time. i know what seems obvious to me and if folding is optimal i would like to hear an explanation.
