Did I make a mistake by checking the flop?
Blinds 250/500 with 25 ante
I have 7,500 in cutoff with ATo
Folded to me, I make it 1,350
Button calls
Blinds fold
Flop: A 9 7
I check and Button bets 2,100
I stall for a while and then push all in
He uses almost all of time bank and calls with 8 9
Turn: 10
River: 9
Please no comments about moving this to bad beats. I got what I wanted, but what is best play on the Flop? -
I dont really like your raise pre flop... it looks like you are raising with the intention of folding if you are reraised. It just looks weak. Its a bit extreme to flat shove there but I think if you want to play that pot you basically are going to commit it all anyhow. Who knows, you may have been able to avoid the coinflip situation by shoving there.
p.s. what a douche for slow rolling you, it would have been priceless if the 10 hit the river... -
^^obv the 99 was most likely the best hand here but not really a slowroll,
slowroll=nuts
