I would call, this really looks like AQ to me.
-
im callin if he has 1010 oh well fuck it
-
I call here definitely looks like AQ. Only reasonable hand we can put him on that beats us is 1010. More combinations of AQ, call!
-
im guessing Q10 cuz prager is in top 15 n i cant seeu anywhere :S
tough hand -
raise pre
lead out flop - if reraised commit all your chips here
bet the turn - fold when you get repopped
the power of information...tough hand. -
alright......I played this hand so slow bc I was scared of BE having KJ so I was just going to check call down. Once I called the turn he instashoved and it completely threw me off. I ended up calling thinking he had AQ, KQ, or KJ. He did have AQ and rivered a 10 to win the pot, but thats not why I posted. I just really didn't know for sure if a call was the right move at this point in the tourney so I was looking for advice.
-
I'd put JP's range on AQ+, maybe 88+
on flop he check/calls, which obv could mean slow playing 10x3 or Qx3
on the turn, prager checks again and lets egypt bet, but pushes in, so..
you could put him on AQ, although I would probably be more likely to say 1010 or even QQ a possibility, although obv unlikely. I don't think 9's full is really a hand you can lay down here, and just have to take it if he has quads or 10's full. his check/call flop and check/raise all in on turn is obv representing a big hand.
i think its a situation where you have to call, and based on pragers 3x pre raise and the check-call, check-raise, i'd say hes on AQ with 1010 maybe 5% -
boats like this dont come along everyday... sure you got the smallest one, but in this kinda of case I call and think a v large portion of the time the opp has trips only with a draw to a bigger boat, and only sometimes are you left drawing to your one out. and if so, thats poker i guess.

just saw he did have AQ and hit the river, unlucky
-
OMG, you guys fold a full house here?
I think you guys make these comments in a forum, but if you were actually in the hand you would call. -
The more I think about it the more I think it is a pretty clear call MSH. I think you do have to put Q10 and KJ in his range however since it was the first level. Alot of ppl are raising wide ranges to try to hit a big flop and bust someone. I really didn't think he had 10 10 bc I think most players are going to lead out or checkraise the flop with a set. I think you were right about me being beat a small percentage of the time, but I think it is Q10 much more often than 10 10

the freerolls but that is the completely wrong way to play that hand...on pretty much every street
-
seriously that was horrible girl
-
k here is another way of thinking about how u played the hand.
u checked the flop trying to induce someone to reraise so that you could shove.
the only hand you're afraid of on that flop was kj and it being 3way thats a slight possibility. hence the check on the flop. no way you're folding even on the flop if they both dont go in before you.
when the board paired up on the turn you got what you wanted and he shoved. now you go into you're shell because you didnt think at all that would happen. if he really did the higher boat i dont see him shoving like this for value. i see KJ more often with this shove then queensfull. i believe you're over analyzing this hand. pretty simple in my opinion. -
I call the turn for sure, and I really hate not raising this flop, can't really see any excuse for it.
-
i also really hate pragers line in this hand, pretty poorly played hand.
-
yea i guess leading is good too, but calling is def bad.
