1st at first 1 hour break in poker tourney...how should I play?

    I was 1st with a huge chip stack in a tourney after the break. How should i play? I played TAG...just waited for top hands and didn't catch any and ended up getting blinded out.

    was it a turbo or did u blind out but it took 4 hours

    I've found that whenever I have a monster stack in any tournament people tend to think I'm very very loose, regardless of how I am playing. I suggest showing an ability to raise/fold then waiting for hands. Play aggro til they play back then wait.

    This illustrates an important point. You have to be aware of what your table image is, and play in part based on how other people at your table are perceiving you and your play. If you make an aggressive play, in which you get it in bad and suck out. Many will view you as a donk, and therefore won't fold any hands to you as an example also.
