  1. In a few weeks I will be turning 21 and going to vegas. I have been trying to plan out where I should play to make the most profit at a 1-2 no limit game and also at the no limit tournaments that are low $$$ as well. Also, what poker rooms give the best comps? Any help will be great because this is my first time in Vegas.
  2. I've been there 6x's in past 2 years. I'm more successful at the lesser known casinos on the strip for the most dead money. $1-$2 NL and tourneys I was most successful at were at Paris, Planet Hollywood, Bally's. The smallest poker room is at Hooters. I went there last trip off of a tip on p5's post that said its real soft. The game was very soft. At a full table 3-4 people didn't hardly know how to play. 3-4 knew the game but were fish. 1 or 2 decent players only - easy to play tight and get paid off. Hooters is right behind MGM Grande which has one og the bigger poker rooms with decent tourneys except poor structure. Most tournys in the lower buy-ins ( $60-$125 ) have quick structures but the amount of donks offsets that.
  3. I'm turning 21 too day after Christmas and I'll be arriving in Vegas that day through New Years. Should be a real sick time, but since I can play 1/2nl live here (Florida), I think I'm going to stick to some $100-$500 tournys, get wasted, and bang a hooker... sounds like a bad ass first trip to Vegas

The tournament lists have been posted on here before and some have excellent structures

  4. Yea, I have heard how soft the hooters game is and its good to hear other people verify it. Thanks for the reply. What about comps?
