1st WSOP - Event Suggestions Plz

    Going to Vegas for my 1st WSOP and 1st live tournament. Unfortunately, I'll only be playing a single $1k or $1500 event (what a noob I am). Any suggestions on which event to choose? My first thought would be to play Event 7 - $1500 buy-in 3 day event. Maybe it doesn't matter which event I choose but I thought there might be some considerations I am not thinking about. Thanks a lot for the input.

    I would suggest playing some lower buyin live events between now and then. Live is different than online so I would try to get into some tournies to get some practice and get some confidence.

    I dont think it will sell out, I could be wrong but they want it (the 1k) to be the biggest prelim event ever.

    With that being said, playing the 340 venetians is def a better idea, but if you want a shot at the bracelet or just want to play a WSOP event id go with the 1500.

    Arrive early and play a couple of satys. If you are solid on push/fold you can get in for a bargain.

    How often do these run and whats the 1st prize/field size/structure like?

    Play one that starts on a Saturday imo. And playing in a WSOP just is different than playing in a Venetian event, I'm sorry.
