I've played about 50 of these in the last few days and I can't help but think I'm doing something wrong. Are these 100% about knowing when to shove? When I play there's hardly any postflop play (except for maybe the first two levels), so to win these do you just have to run good? I don't know what I can do to give myself more of an edge.

Pretty much shovefest. if you want an edge, play the 4.40 non turbo's... structure actually gives you time to play poker.

Heh, I have like a 130% ROI in the 4.40 non-turbos but lately they've been taking over 4 hours to finish so I've been looking for something else to do inbetween classes. Any suggestions on how I can improve my shovebot skills (free programs?)

2.20 turbos are entirley knowing shove stack poker, and volume is the key the more you play the more you make, but varience in these is gross.

run GOOOOOOOD

Run good

Run like an 8 legged swamp dog.(thats good by the way)

yes, you must run good. However, running good means knowing when to shove your chips. So knowing push/fold ranges is critical and once you start making the right moves at the right times, you will begin to run good. You can find plenty of pushbot charts on the web for help.
