  1. First hand at the table. I have villain covered. Villain raises to 20 three callers and then i call with 9s10s. Flop is 3h 8s js. Pot is 100 and I flop open ended flush draw. Villain leads out 55, folds to me and I make it 145. He thinks a minute and just calls. Turn is blank King and he leads out 200 with 100 behind. Fold or Shove?

  2. UR CALLING 300 TO WIN 700; U HAVE 30% CHANCE ON RIVER CARD. HOW LUCKY DID YOU FEEL?

Personally, I'd raise flop bet to 200 minimum; let villan choke on that. he'll know you are committed to the end. Your flop raise was a tease.
  3. Call. He isn't folding for the last $100. May as well see the river before throwing in your last $100. If you hit either draw he probably still won't fold getting 7:1. If you miss, you fold and save yourself money.
  4. poker math 101: How to determine pot odds:

On turn, pot has 590 (there was 145*2 after flop raise and call + 100 in pot preflop + 200 after his turn bet = 290 + 100 + 200=590). You have to call 200. To determine pot odds you take the amount you have to call and divide it by the total currently in the pot PLUS the amount you have to call. So in this case your pot odds are 200/590+200=200/790=.253

So you need 25.3% chance to have the appropriate pot odds to call. Given that you have 30% equity even if he has a set I don't see how you can fold this.

As far as shoving, you are also never getting him to fold and he will pay you off pretty much every time on the river when you do bink so there really is no reason to put that last 100 in until you do bink - and if you miss you save yourself $100. Shoving here isn't wrong mathematically (you'd be putting in 300 to win 990 which means you need right around 30% equity which you have) but it also isn't optimal.

  5. Something else you gain by calling rather than shoving is implied odds. That's when you can count on more money from the villain when you make your hand but don't have to balance the same amount from your own stack since you fold when you miss. Since there is usually some chance that you will make your hand and still lose you always want an overlay when calculating implied odds.
