Thanks again. Sorry for my noobishnesss.
  2. Hand 1 I fold without any reads. Having said that, your problems started with your preflop raise, which is just inviting a call, which will make the flop hard to play unless you hit a set. In late position I would just shove pre flop, utg as you were, I fold.

Hand 2 there are so many draws out there that there are a ton of hands you are ahead of. I dont like a check raise - on a board that drawy I dont want to give a free card. Your lead actually looks weak, which may have induced his bet - I would probably lead for around 14,000 here. As played I call and fade a ton of outs.

  3. Thanks CJ I agree with your thoughts.

Hand 2 SB v BB is my raise going to be called very often? Is limping a better play? I had thought about shoving but I feel like when I open shove deep I get snapped off by sick hands too much.

Is open folding ok or is that way too nitty?

  4. I think the raise is fine in the first hand but an open fold is probably better with your stack size. Never open limping...

As played I don't think you can call his open ship, monkeys will shove up with a random Q here in my experience.

Not too sure on the second hand. I like the raise but would have cbet more on the flop. As played I call here because I think he'll show up with draws or a spazzed T here more often than a better J.
