As some of you may have read earlier this week I began playing poker full-time and set out to make $20,000 by the end of February. The first couple days have been nothing to write about. I began on a downswing of $405.00, however I was able to bounce back and am only down $81.00 now. I have been playing pretty solid poker, but have been on the wrong side of variance. AK < AQ, 88 <55, etc. but such is poker. I'm staying upbeat and looking forward to moving into the positives later today.

Started with a $5,000 dollar bankroll, so currently am at $4,919. I play Sit-n-go's and MTTs from $12-$60.

Have you considered playing cash games?
You'll probably make more money if you can improve that side of your game.. -
funny how most everyone thinks turning 5k into 20k isn't much of a challenge. Guess everyone who posts here is a big winner and there's nothing to it.

I have thought about playing cash, but my results at Sit-n-go's and MTT's are much better. I wanted the challenge to be feasible, yet impressive and something I wouldn't have to kill myself to achieve. I know for a lot of people it seems like peanuts, but for me it would be a great accomplishment.
Thanks for your support guys!
