  1. As some of you may have read earlier this week I began playing poker full-time and set out to make $20,000 by the end of February. The first couple days have been nothing to write about. I began on a downswing of $405.00, however I was able to bounce back and am only down $81.00 now. I have been playing pretty solid poker, but have been on the wrong side of variance. AK < AQ, 88 <55, etc. but such is poker. I'm staying upbeat and looking forward to moving into the positives later today.

  4. Have you considered playing cash games?

You'll probably make more money if you can improve that side of your game..

so you are turning 5k into 20k?? Doesn't seem like "that" much of a challenge. GL though obv hope you hit the target.

  7. funny how most everyone thinks turning 5k into 20k isn't much of a challenge. Guess everyone who posts here is a big winner and there's nothing to it.
  8. I have thought about playing cash, but my results at Sit-n-go's and MTT's are much better. I wanted the challenge to be feasible, yet impressive and something I wouldn't have to kill myself to achieve. I know for a lot of people it seems like peanuts, but for me it would be a great accomplishment.

    Thanks for your support guys!
