  1. I'm pleased to announce that we've got the schedule ready for your consideration.

You can view it here: 2010 Spring Championship of Online Poker - Schedule Announcement

As always, we are grateful to our players for helping us to build the most successful tournament series in online poker. I'd like to invite each of you to examine the schedule and let us know what you think of it before we set things in stone. Thanks!
  2. One thing I notice is that it's tough for the 9-5ers like myself to play in a lot of these with the scheduled times.
  3. any of these 2 day events?

One unfortunate reality of scheduling such things is that there is no one perfect time which suits all people in all regions and in all situations. Having said that, the second event each day is later than ever before, with play beginning at 17:00 ET; with late registration open for an hour, that gives you until 18:00 ET to register. Also, we have four events this year which begin at 20:00 ET.

Yes, Events 16, 32, and 33 are 2-day tournaments. The blog will be updated to note that soon. Thanks!

  7. Whatever stakes you decide on for event 9, make that your NLHE Turbo tournament. Like someone already said, its hard for 9-5ers to play during the week, so one turbo option would be nice.
  8. I think the schedules is awesome. I really love how the SCOOP has a low level buy in for all of us low limit players!! Thanks pokerstars look forward to binkin my first 5 fig score! =D

    yes...always have always will

  11. I get the reason why ($215 buyins can use step 4 tickets) but theres too many $22/$215/$2100 NLHE events. I mean theres even 2 in 1 day on May 9th. Switch the buyins up a little bit, mix it up.

  12. o/u on how much gboro, djk, mcleod and jgent ship in total comined winnings during the series $1M or is that not high enough?

  13. ill take the over for infinite monies

  14. YYYYYYYYEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!

  15. How will steps be intergrated into sattying into the $1,050, $2,150, and $5,200 tournies?

Any chance of having Step 6 tix being used for $2,150 buyins again?

Would be great to have Step 6 SNG that paid seats to the $5,200 buyin. If i remember you had this last yeat but the Omaha Hi-lo Never ran. If you had Step 6 NLHE that paid multiple winners tix to ANY $5,200 buy in would be the bomb
  16. not scoop related but any chance micro mill becomes permanent, bi weekly , monthly?

    Event 23-L: $22 NL Hold'em [2 rebuys, 1 add-on], $100,000 gtd
    Event 23-M: $215 NL Hold'em [2 rebuys, 1 add-on], $300,000 gtd
    Event 23-H: $2,100 NL Hold'em [2 rebuys, 1 add-on], $500,000 gtd

    Friday, May 14, 2010, 14:00 ET:
    Event 26-L: $22 NL Hold'em [1 rebuy, 1 add-on], $250,000 gtd
    Event 26-M: $215 NL Hold'em [1 rebuy, 1 add-on], $500,000 gtd
    Event 26-H: $2,100 NL Hold'em [1 rebuy, 1 add-on], $1,000,000 gtd

I only see one scheduled NLH tourney with unlimited rebuys in the scoop shedule, would love to see one of these ^^ tourneys changed to unlimited rebuys instead of having these two very similar tourneys 2 days apart. I think $22 and $215 rebuy tournaments would do great but a 2k rebuy seems too high. I think having a 1k rebuy wouldnt be too farfetched and on average would come out to cost less then the 2k 2r 1a anway.

22r 215r and 1050r would be great for wednseday but with the 10x buy in between stakes thing might have to be 10r 109r and 1050r, which i think is still much better then the proposed shedule. Lets make this change!!

We'll have Steps exits for many of the $1K, $3K, and $5K tourneys. Step 6 tickets will be valid for entry into the $2,100 events. As for a Steps exit which paid out $5,200 SCOOP tickets, that's possible though I'm not sure how popular it would be. Can't hurt to try it, though...

The note about times aside (you've got until 6pm with late registration :)), there are in fact a couple of turbos on the schedule.

    Friday, May 7, 2010, 20:00 ET:
    Event 12-L: $16.50 NL Hold'em [2X Chance, turbo], $250,000 gtd
    Event 12-M: $162 NL Hold'em [2X Chance, turbo], $500,000 gtd
    Event 12-H: $1,575 NL Hold'em [2X Chance, turbo], $750,000 gtd

    Friday, May 14, 2010, 20:00 ET:
    Event 28-L: $22 NL Omaha Hi/Lo (turbo), $50,000 gtd
    Event 28-M: $215 NL Omaha Hi/Lo (turbo), $100,000 gtd
    Event 28-H: $2,100 NL Omaha Hi/Lo (turbo), $200,000 gtd

  22. I love the concept of the low, mid, and high buy-ins. So glad you guys kept them around.

    Can you make Event #9 a 6-max? Maybe make the buy-ins $33, $320, and $3150?

Right now the only NL 6-max events are Event #1 (which has rebuys, so it's a bit different), and Event #31 on the final day.
  23. when are satellites starting for this? you should have 1-2 sats every day that guarentee XX amount of seats to whatever event. Something like a $50 into a $1000 with 10 seats guarenteed. I think that if you were to have one "mega" sattelite a day at a good time for the average 9-5er (8 pm eastern??) They'de go over really well. The extreme satellites for wcoop were sick (even though i bricked every one) and I'd obviously love to see those back again for scoop but if not I'd really like to see something similar to this.

    Event 25-L: $11 PL Omaha Hi/Lo, $75,000 gtd
    Event 25-M: $109 PL Omaha Hi/Lo, $150,000 gtd
    Event 25-H: $1,050 PL Omaha Hi/Lo, $300,000 gtd

Really wish this was $22/$215/$2100 since it is the only PLO8 on the schedule.

It would be cool if you guys added a big bet SCOOP tournament. This would be Pot Limit Holdem/Omaha/PLO8. Cereus did this during the UBOC and it was very cool. I like the variety on the PLO tournaments (rebuys/6-max/HU) and of course there is a great variety of Holdem tournaments. I would love to see another PLO8 added (6 max or rebuy). Looking forward to the series and thanks for seeking players feedback and taking the time to make a great schedule!!
  29. Schedule looks great to me for the most part. Looking forward to losing lots of $$$
