a $2100 roll debating what to grind out in NOV.

    I tried $100NL yesterday and I did not do to well. My problem was that I was playing too scared so i was not making any good plays. I was playing way too tight.

    I am thinking about grinding out some more $25NL or some mtt this month.

    For mtt I would be playing $20 and under + $3 and $5 rebuys.

    Should I try to double or tripple my bankroll this month with MTT or grind out $25NL and move up to $50NL next month.

    I know I will be making around $15-20 hour on $25NL so I will end up doubling my bankroll this month through cash games as well.

    Doing Mtt worth the grind?

    how did you build your roll up to $2k in the first place? Just keep doing that, most likely.

    I built my roll doing $10 heads up matches almost all $10 heads up matches with a few mtt here and there. The problem with doing these $10 matches is that I only make $11 / hour and i do not want to keep grinding those out for $11 / hour. I have tried the $20s and I can't seem to beat the $20 heads up matches. The $30s and $50s i can beat some reason. I am just looking to change up my game some and get a 5-10k bankroll this month.

    I think I will try a couple days of mtt and see how I do then. If I feel I am not a good enough player I will go back to grinding out cash games or heads up. I know the turbo sngs I do not do to well in due to variance. I hope because I will be playing mostly Non turbo mtt I will do a lot better.

    OK MTT for 2-3 days it is.

    HAHAHAHHAHA I did not even see what i was typing. I jus twoke up must be too early for me. 5:22pm lol. Life of a poke rplayer staying up all night and sleeping in all day. lol.

    LOL at playing too tight at 100nl with a 2100 roll. Im over aggressive with a 300 roll at 200nl.

    nothing wrong with grinding out $25...then after you make a bit of a profit move up to $50 for the day. play any MTT under 20 and 1-5 Rs. think youre probably playing right so far. gl man

    I do not want to jump to $50NL yet because I need to gain more experience I think. I still have not completed 50khands yet of 25NL. I am a winning player so far but i do not have have my cash game strategy down solid yet. I am still a lil spewy with 88 and 99 and AK. once I fix these wholes in my game I will be moving up for sure.

    I am hoping to get at least a 5k bankroll by the end of this month then I will be focusing on 1 table at a time for $200NL and slowly add one table at a time when I feel more comfortable.

    P.S. I did not mean to say take down 4 friends I meant 4 fields lol.

    yeah good luck on the transition from tourny poker to 25 and 50 NL

    you can force people to fold and push push push in tournies

    in 25 and 50 nl people are straight retarded and can't lay shit down.. i dont know how many times i've got people to call me down with NO odds the whole way only to hit thier only runner runner outs at 50nl

    i know you want to play against those idiots... but when 7 out of 9 players at the table are doing it it can get frustrating...

    i actually played 1,000 hands yesterday on six max $50NL. And did pretty well. i am not sure what I would call my style. I am not sure if it is laggy or tag.

    I lean mostly toward TAG but I like $50NL a lot better then tourneys. For now anyways until i start to run bad lol.

    $50Nl is a def. gold mind though. Unless you get top 3 in a big mtt or you play a big buy in mtt and place for a $1000+ then its not worth playing mtt. Easily make that in cash games.

    I just can't wait until i good enough to play like $5,000 NL or something. I see p3achy_keen own day in and day out. sits there and it looks like he is making at least 10k a day at the least.
