  1. I decided to take a shot at a 215 and this hand came up. The way he pushed made me think he had JJ-88 or AK-AJ. I don't think he would push with AA-QQ.

    party Speed SNG tournament
    Blinds 200/400

    Stacks before posting:
    UTG (Hero)- 3000
    UTG+1- 3743
    CO- 4932
    Button- 1930
    SB- 2230
    BB- 4165

    Hero is dealt 65
    Hero calls 400, UTG+1 raises to 3743 all-in, 4 folds, Hero ???
  2. why are we limping UTG with 65 with less than 8bb and an M of 5, with the effective M being more closer 3? I think he's shoving any hand he's playing here as well
  3. is this a serious question?
  4. to repeat what someone else said...why are you limping UTG with 65 and your stack? FOLD.

The "pros" do it, and think they're right.

  7. you need a life brother. I will hide this thread as well.
  8. I can understand why you'd hide this thread, but the original one? Stop trying to make me look like the bad guy. You never responded to any of my questions yet expect me to "trust you" that it's a good play because you're a pro?

  9. haha...the "pros" do it and think they're right...good one. It's one thing if you were the one pushing with this hand, but to call all in with it doesn't seem like a bright idea. So you might have ok pot odds...they're not great, but do you really want to put your entire stack on the line where you're most definitely behind? If you're just trying to gamble, then go for it. If you want a legitimate shot at staying alive, wait for a better spot.

  11. i clicked on the link...limping UTG with 65 is still a horrid play in this situation
  12. I didn't actually do it. I just recreated beanie's hand. And I agree limping is horrid, as is calling the all-in, which beanie did.

  13. please continue to play 200 speeds on party, and while you're at it, consider playing stars 200 turbos and maybe 500 turbos. limp / fold 1/7 of his stack away in a sng ROFL

  14. It wasn't me dammit. I was recreating beanie's hand to get some new opinions / confirm that it's an absolutely dreadful play.
