    Poorly played IMO. raise bigger off the flop, raise bigger still to his reraise, and fire AI on the turn. If he is playing J8, 89, etc. then gg, but letting him draw for free is risky business. as it is, I think a call is a must on the river, if you're beat you're beat.

    why did you bet river......any previous history with this player? or previous hands where he min raised post flop?

    that being said id NEVER fold the flop EVER, i might have even raised if there is any info you have on this guy gotta share

    The flop bet is too small and the mini-raise is screaming 33, 88 or J8. You can't call his raise here on the flop. You need to raise him here just to see where you're at. Both your checks on the turn are bad. If he has a set of 3's, the board pairing could give his opponent extra outs. The raise on the river to me screams J8.

    As stated before thats just a poor bet on the river, if you really think he possibly just had top pair or 9T maybe you check call the river. But leading out with a bet just gives him an oppurtunity to bluff you off the hand as hes not calling unless he only has top pair and hes folding/bluffing you if hes beat, and also raising if your beat. However, as also stated before this hand screams J8 or even quad 8 possibly.
