    How do people change their strategy in this type of format. Is it worth it to play your first buy in more aggressively to try and accumulate early or try and save yourself a buy in? Any thoughts...

    The re-buy is free for the 1K, so gambooooooooooo hard. If we start with 5K in chips I think it's highly unlikely that I fold suited cards in the first two hours. For stuff like the late 109 on stars, if I have my rebuy near the end of the period and I still have a startingish stack I will make some loose shoves/calls to get a bigger stack. It might be -$EV but I like playing with a big stack so it's +FunEV.

    Oh I see I misinterpreted the structure, I thought It was 1k for an additional stack if you bust your first stack. Wow so most people should be in for 10k in chips....Jesus this will be long.

    your first thought was right hn you can rebuy once for free only if u bust, no add on
