It seems week after week that I continuously build a monster stack and run as one of the chip leaders through out a tournament and then always come short of the big money, this is week after week after week. I Know some of you would say dude you won a good days pay for my bankroll. (I satied into both of these as I am only rolled for the max 50 to 75 dollar tournaments but it seems like I have played the majores everyweekend for the past year lol, Im a good sattelite player i guess)

Anyway you pros out there that have taken down 20k scores how do you handle long long stretches of being a hiccup away of these big pay days. 2 weeks in a roww i get down to under 100 7000 man field tournements.

07 Dec 08 $750k Fulltilt major $216 3517 field placed 57 $1,388 possibly could have laid down for a better spot later like 70/30 but hey i got it in on a flip with 57 to go. Pretty obvious this guy was defending is bb w5ith a small pair maybe flipping for 22.5 bb shove was iffy but hey I want to get top 3 not place. I knew he did not have AA kk or he would try to get value and not shove 30 bb stack.

I don't really want staking or need it cause I'm fine playing the smaller buy ins for now and when i satellite in I'll take my shots but I think that if i was staked It would be more for someone disciplining me to play better. Anybody out there getting staked do you think it helps your mental state knowing you have somebody counting on you to take down these tourneys?
