Final table of the $3 rush re-buy on FTP. $42,000 prize pool. ~20 million chips in play, divided almost equally amongst the final 3. Blinds 50/100k.
I pick up QQ as the big blind with roughly 6 million chips.
Button raises to 280k.
Small blind folds.
I re-raise to 780k.
Button takes about a minute, and min re-raises to 1.3 mil or so.
What's your play and why? -
a HH would make this much easier
-
shove. you should still get calls from 88-jj, AK
-
Unfortunately I don't have the HH. I thought I did a pretty good job explaining the situation though ;/

And fwiw, the button raiser had not been overly aggressive by any means. The occasional steal, but folding on the button wasn't rare for him. -
Shove and be happy about it. AA or KK would be unlucky.
-
shove because i'm never folding qq 3 handed preflop in a mtt
-
ya, shove, def not folding that 3handed
-
You didn't chop so I'm assuming ur playin for the win and folding QQ 3 handed is def not playin ftw so that being said I jam there is already approx 2.2 mil in the middle and even if u assign him a really nitty range of 99+ AQ+ ur still way above his range dn exact figures but ballpark ur probs 60+ percent (guesstimate) so def ship it in
-
Tough break running into AA/KK...not a chance in hell I'm ever folding QQ 3-handed.
Are you looking for the "min 5-bet, fold to a shove" advice?? You know you're getting it in 100% of the time here. -

Aight, thanks for the replies...
I re-raised all in, he called with KK...and he held obviously.
I knew he had a huge hand. The final table was super nitty... not much 3-betting at all. I didn't really think villain would 4 bet me with anything other than AK,AA,KK...
I considered folding, but then said to myself, 'we're only 3 handed, can i really lay this down? i've already made a nice profit, if he has AA/KK i'll just chalk it up as a cooler.'
If I folded, I would've had more than enough chips left to still fight for the win.
Is a fold THAT bad? I know shoving all-in isn't bad with QQ, 3-handed, but how about folding here?
Folding QQ 3-handed= automatic leak?
5-bet all-in with QQ, running into KK/AA= automatic cooler, and not a leak? -
no way in hell i fold here

if this is true, then you probably shouldn't have 3b int he first place and just have flat...
