  2. don't mind how you played this hand at all. Hustla's flat is super sick and Im thinkin he is strong or he might just play really horrid. either way I don't mind you c/f.

Anybody hate jamming here or is that too yid'ish for you?

  3. Thanks appst - i wanted to shove, but people call off 15-20bb's so light now, I didn't really think I needed to shove as my table was littered with horrid players... Thoughts from anyone else?

you want them to call off light. If your table was filled with horrid players I think this is more of a jam fwiw.

Yeah, wouldn't you want him to call light if you're holding AQ?

By default I jam here in a vacuum with a bunch of opponents I think are flat-happy. If I think they are reship happy, r/c seems standard. As played, agree with your line of checking flop, folding turn.
  7. Yeah you guys are right, in theory I want people calling light in this situation - I guess I was just letting the fact that I normally run like shit affect my line of thinking

Yeah, we all get in that line of thinking from time to time...just gotta get yourself to understand that you run just as good(or bad) as everyone else, and things will smooth over...just keep making good solid judgment calls, and it'll work out.
  9. tbh i think i shove pre 80% of the time, and raise call the other 20%, after you opening you played it perfect tho.

  10. I'm shoving pre, unless you've been opening a lot, or someone has been loose with shoving, then I'd bet like you did, and call a shove. A bet on the flop commits you to the hand, even tho J77 probably didn't hit his range, he might reship any PP, so I check. Then fold turn, and find a spot to open shove in.
