  1. Where do u like to be at 1st break?
  2. right around 5000....
  3. 5000 is all I need
  4. 12-15k
  5. really...thats it?
how tight do you play after the 1st break?

  6. 8,000-12,000 at least. Otherwise you're be clawing halfway through the 2nd hour.
  7. people are awful..just be patient with that stack and get paid off on big hands because this tourney is mostly donkeys with no clue

  8. Id like to have at least 10K, but it is NOT a necessity...

  9. I dont see the need to try to gamble in the 1st hour. If I get a premium hand. Yes I will call the all in fest that goes on.. But if not. I will take my chances with minimum chip stack after the break.. Heck 5K with Blinds 75/150.. Plenty. Just start shoving.. Double up twice bang 20K just like that... Keep in mind Ive never won or FT'd these. I have finished 27th and 20th..
  10. Here is my question, why dont they call it the six dollar rebuy? It costs six dollars to rebuy and add on.....and in reality its a smart idea to get at least 10k+ primarily because that means either you or the rest of the table (or both) is rebuying alot. That means there will be more chips at your table for you to win if ur a good player. If you play tight, and so does the rest of your table, your going to get raped when you switch to a table where everyone has more chips then you.
  11. I dont see the need to try to gamble in the 1st hour.

Then why the fuck play a rebuy? Just enter a regular $3 or $5 tournament.

Getting 8 people like you at my table really pisses me off. Everyone at the table is "happy" with 5k at the break, then we're all moved to other tables to play with people w/ 25k.

    Happiness quickly dissipates.
  12. I've come across plenty who only buy in for $three and don't rebuy.
  13. If im at ur table u along with everyone else will have plent of chips
  14. you play this over a freezeout because you have LOADS of dead money and a humongous prize pool compared to the investment. I have gone from 5k to 20k in the 2nd hour MANY times.

That being said I dont play rebuys tight...but I understand the reasoning for doing it

I like to have atleast 12k at break. If someone else is loading up the table then I dont mind playing tighter because I know I will get paid off large in the 2nd hour.

  15. I didnt say I was happy with 5K at the break. Or maybe I did. I mean yes I would love to have 20K at the break. But odds are that is not gonna happen. So I dont mind playing Short Stacked. Actually it reduces the donk off factor for me.. I play this as opposed to a freezout for a chance at a higer payday if I happen to run deep.
