  2. Looks like an easy fold to me. You only beat pp[2] and have to sweat any/all over cards. You bust & you're done.

  4. Snap fold. you should never be calling off this many chips with a small pair. You will still have 17bbs which is a good reshove stack if a larger stack opens, and once the blinds rise you will have a good open shoving stack to eat some blinds and try to chip up.

  5. In this situation or any other with your stack size, always fold the small pairs; these calls can come to no good. While he may have a wide range of raising hands for this move, you can't beat 44!
  6. 1. fold
    2. 32 left and no read? turn off ESPN!
  7. no way you can risk you tourney here, at best villian has over cards and you are only 55% ish to win more likely is that he has you beat already. Lose the BB and wait for a better spot
  8. call or fold if fine here, if the button has been active on the button i say call but if not then let it go....either one isnt a bad play.

  9. At best, your barely leading, unless u think hes going in with 2s, although I highly doubt it. I do not agree with calling at all. If you had a read on him, which is surprising that you don't, I personally only feel comfortable risking my entire stack with a pocket pair JJ+ if I feel he's a tight player. If he's been doing this for a while and appears looser, I'd open it up a little bit and call with AK, AQ, or 1010+, depending highly on my read on his play. Keep in mind that your lower pocket pairs 22-1010 are barely leading over two higher cards, AK, AQ, AJ vs 1010 or A8, A7, etc. vs 33.
  10. snap fold. calling is embracing variance. I'm trying to find ways to reduce it and get more of it into my game.

i'm thinking a good calling range is like 77+, A9s/ATo, KQs/o maybe KJs not sure tho. 66 is also close but prolly a fold. Just not a good reason to call of lighter than that imo.

Other thoughts on a calling range here?
