  1. I played only 2 hands previously before this one on the final table. The one that went to showdown was KK, so my table image is TAG.

  2. Probably fold, there's 4 people left to act, including the chipleader, you're just under 10xBB--still not completely desperate, but are definitely in push or fold mode and the shortest stack. It's a better choice than Ace-rag, but I would probably wait another round or two before I felt I needed to shove TJo. A critical question for me is the blind timing...how long till the next level? If you just got to 3/6k I probably wait. I'd call this a marginal fold.

  3. another factor in the equation is your bankroll. does the difference between 6 & 7 matter to you? if so, fold and fight it out with a slightly better hand (i suppose this is still debateable). if the difference isn't a big deal to you, i think you're pushing here. you have an M of sightly over 5 and nothing to lose. you have fold equity and if you've been tight and only shown down KK, this is a push. i think i'm on the fence about this and would ask myself if i really wanted that diff between the lower payouts or if i would rather risk it to go for 1st (not that it would be a guarantee even if you doubled...) what'd you do? looking forward to reading what others think.
  4. The blinds were being raised to 4000-8000 a400 within 2 minutes which ended up being the deciding factor in my push. Along with the fact that I got impatient due to being the shortest stack at the table. This hand really had me puzzled though. JT looks very pretty when you have been card dead for so long but it really is not that strong when you are in push or fold mode. Although, if I was able to obtain a chipstack I believe I am very good at end game play.
I guess during very marginal situations like this one I should play by "when in doubt, fold"...
