  1. Feels good to be back =) FT just started for the party $109 that started at midnight EST. About 20 more people than the tourney I won last night. I'm in 3rd at the moment, but 5 of us all have VERY similar chip counts. Let's see how it goes..

  2. keep it up bro!!!
  3. Wow. I ran over that final table and got it into heads up. To be honest, I considered my opponent fairly tight/passive and I didn't want to play a big pot with him. I wanted to keep chipping away at his blinds and betting flops to steal them. I didn't want to get into a race situation.

One hand came up where I had QT and raised. He called, and the flop came Q 6 4 rainbow. I bet, and he called. Turn was a 4. I bet again, and he went allin.. the pot was very big at that point. Honestly, this guy was playing pretty straightforward and I actually thought he had the 4 but the pot was so big I had to call incase I was wrong.. he turned up T4. 2 outed me on the turn, but that's poker.

He took the chip lead after that hand, and I continued my strategy of trying to chip away. I got from about 90,000 back up to about 190,000 where he had 230,000 doing it. I finally picked up a real hand during the heads up with KK, and I raised the typical raise I had been doing every time. He reraised me allin, and although I didn't want to play a big pot with him, I of course called. He flipped over AJ and hit a straight to the J and knocked me out.. ohh well.

Finished 2nd for $7,155.. first place was just under $12,000, and I would've had a monstrous chip lead if my KK held up.. but what can ya do. I'll be back to these FTs soon =)
