  2. I don't like the raise, but if you are going to raise and there's a UTG limper, you should raise more than the standard 3x bb raise.

    On the flop you only bet half the pot, I'd lean more toward a 1k bet, which is 2/3 the pot.

    By giving up on the turn you're inviting him to be there. He very well could have the flush, but there's also quite a few hands that don't beat trips. 66, 77, 88, TT, JT A9, etc etc. I fire one more bullet on the turn to see where I'm at, but I'm also not in the pot to begin with.
