Reads: Quads has been playing pretty tight and horob has been limping habitually in late position and folding to standard raises.
Is this a super easy fold? or do you ever just put him on two overs and call this?

Why would you ever just guess? He could be doing this with 8's. You have no fold equity. Just fold.
-
annoying spot- his range is never balanced here. TT or JJ+ is out of the range, but ur too deep to be getting it in with 77- flipping like all the time here
-
ez fold

These look like super weak players. limping and then shoving 30BB... who knows what he has - but I will bet there are easier ways to beat these guys than guessing his range and hoping i hold up.
(for this reason i hated Cada's call of Moon's shove in the WSOP - Moon was 45% to win the hand and probably the WSOP - don't we want better odds against the monkeys than 55%)
ok people tend not to have monsters when they do this, but i shoved 100BB on the second hand of a tournament for a giggle with KK and got called by 33. and lately some of these big overshoves have been big hands, so people are sort of catching on - i've called a few ridiculously large opens and found AK waiting...
why guess and calloff chips? I'd guess we are ahead of his range - but we are getting no price....
and horus has been being exploited - how do you think he'd play QQ if he'd been getting raised when he limps... -
Thanks for the advice guys. I folded pretty quickly, but then I just thought hmmm wonder if that is correct. so thanks for the replys!

I agree this is a fold. You'd be calling off most of your stack hoping for a flip when you could be ( and should be ) using your chips to apply pressure on the shorties as the FT bubble looms.
Like the old saying goes, it's better to be the hammer than the anvil... or is it the nail? I always get my old sayings mixed up
-
The term "insta-muck" quickly comes to mind.
You have played for about 2.5 hours and now you are willing to flip 30+ BB's before the final table?
If you folded, well done. IF you called, I hope you won the flip or weren't up against a bigger pocket pair. -
Calling with 77 is WAY worse than shoving with it... Fold 100% of the time here imo unless player had been a complete spewtard and even then its pretty much a fold...
-
easy fold, to deep to be getting it in with 77s, you are either way behind in the hand or your flipping coins at best, just fold.
-
Agree 100%, don't even think about it (anymore :))
-
I call. I also play for first.
-
I figured i better post since this is the first HH i have seen
and I was part of it.....i hope I won that one?????????????
FWIW = I fold -
Thats a Fizzzold
