  1. I heard the concencus was 1BB/100 hands and since you play 60 hands per hour... if you 4 table 2-4 full ring and get about 240 hands per hour, you would make 9.60/hr.

    1. Does 9.60/hr rate playing 4 tables make you a good player because i find that number very low.

    2. what about 4 tabling 2-4 short handed?

    3. Whats a good amount per hour playing 4 tables of 50NL full ring and 50NL short handed? I heard 4BB per 100 hands is good but 8BB per 100 hands means your real good

    Thanks.
  2. If youre at the very least an average/slight above avg low limit cash player its not very difficult to make 6 PTBB/100 hands. 4 tabling 6-max (appr. 300 hands/hr) at this rate will make you $18/hr.

    (As far as NL goes)
  3. is this from 6 max no limit 50NL?

  4. yeah, 50nl 6max. I regularly play 100nl but if i havent played in a while or im running bad, i sometimes drop to 50nl. I played 22k hands at that level the last 12 months, 4 or 5 tabling and Pokertracker has me at $37.34/hr at 9.08 PTBB/100. These levels are pretty soft.

If youre a steady NL player, this shouldnt be a problem for you DC.
  5. someone told me that the average player 4 tabling 50NL full ring will be a loser. A good player would average 2BB per 100 hands whereas an excellent player would aveage 4BB per 100 hands though that would not last long.

So assuming you run 2BB per 100 hands, that means 4.80 per hour plus rakeback which probably will be maybe 6 dollars per hour? Is this true? The person said thats why most players 10 table it and average 24 per hour plus rakeback. i do notice a lot of players play 8 or 12 tables.

comments on whether this info is right or wrong? Thankss.

  6. A strong 2/4 LHE player at the 6max tables will do much better on an hourly basis than this. Averaging 2bb/100 or even more is definitely possible at this level for a strong player. It is more difficult to quad table 6max LHE IMO so I tend to 2-3 table. Factoring in this return plus rakeback and bonus clearing and you can make upwards of $25 to $30/hour.
  7. what about no limit? Limit seems just too boring to me.

  8. Shorthanded LHE is the action game. If you are playing 3 tables you are seeing about 300 hands/hour and you can profitably play about a 3rd of them where you often get to make a decision on every street. i find it more interesting then NL cash games and if u are comparing 2/4 LHE with $50NLHE you will make far more playing LHE. If you are good. I'll let someone else speak to NLHE since it has been a while since I've played.
  9. okay thanks for your insight. Anyone here who plays 50NL 4, 8, or 12 tabling can give some insight on their winrate?

  10. i have 8.8bb/100hands for NLHE 50 max full and 4.5bb/100 for NLHE 50 6max. these numbers seem a little high but its what pokertracker tells me. i heard if you have anything above 8-10bb/100 in a game you are pretty much crushing it and should move up levels if you can

  11. ^^stats over 16k hands. dyna i think your estimates are a bit low for these stakes. either that or im just that good, lol but i dont think these numbers are too hard to reach if you play a solid straightforward game.

somebody correct me if i'm wrong

  12. do you ever consider actually trying out some of these things instead of just asking something new every day?

If you're a better LHE player then play limit. If you're better at NL play NL.

  13. dude 16K hands is like 5 days of playing. maybe less than that. Is this what you base your research on?
  14. i do. I currently average around 2BB/100 hands so i have to work on it. Someone mentioned that 8BB/100 hands is achievable by many players in another forum.

  15. um i played 50max for at least four months consistently, usually multitabling. either i'm missing a lot of hand histories or something else is wrong, but these stats should definitely not be for five days. are there options in pokertracker that show only the most recent games or anything along those lines?

  16. sloverville 22k hands is nothing especially over a whole year

  17. they can be from as far back as you want, but 16K isn't a sample that you can get any real information from.
