  1. I've started playing and tracking my results of the 45 man $24+$2 SNG's on FullTilt. So far I have 270 games played(obv somewhat small sample), with an ROI of 38%. I've been trying to find some info on what a good sample size is for these tourneys, as well as an achievable ROI in over the long run. So I have a few questions, any input would be appreciated:

    1. How many tourney's do I need to have in my sample before my ROI is a reliable number? I was thinking 1000 would give me a good idea of a sustainable ROI.

    2. What is a reasonable expected ROI over the long run in these tourneys?

    3. How many Tourney's do you think you can grind in 8 hours- 4, 6, or 8 tabling these?

  2. ID say you want at least 1000 to get a decent idea of where your at for a sustainable roi...

IMO anything at 20%+ is beating the game pretty well (assuming we are multi tabling)

it depends on if you are running these as sets (load up 8 and play them out, then start again) or continuous (when you lose one you replace it with another).. personally the month i spent grinding the 45 mans i found it fairly easy to 12 table these, but i ran them in sets, so i would play till i was almost done with all of them before starting to load up another set of 12... i think this is the best way to go because you can load up more games initially, and when you get close to the money you likely only have 4-6 tables left so you can focus when it counts...

they take 90-120 minutes to win, so assuming you ran sets i would plan on 2 hours plus the time it takes to load up the tourneys (peak hours 3-5 minutes, not so prime hours 6-10 minutes each) so if you ran a set of 4 in opeak hours about 2hr20min 6 is 2hr30 min... u get the idea...
  3. the other day i played 65 10+1s in one day i was only 9 tablin too, just sat down and stopped registering after 2 hours, then did 2 more 4 hr blocks. So ya in 8 hrs i would say 40 is pretty easily attainable
  4. Thanks for the input guys, just to clarify, I have been either 4 tabling or 6 tabling, but I have been doing it continuosly, so once I get bounced from one, I sign up for another.

  5. You will find that 1,000 games is not a large enough sample size for the 45 man tournaments.

The variance in these is much higher than a 9 man sit and go. I think 5,000 - 10,000 will give you more accurate numbers.

I am not familiar with the structure or skill level of the 45 man sit and gos on Full Tilt. I have played a lot of them on stars though and can tell you that at the $20-$30 level, anything over 20% is very good.
  6. And drastically they don't do 45 man turbos!!
  7. i would say sample should be between 3-5k

and ROI anything from like 15-20% would be decent.

Even though they aren't technically turbos, the 45's on Tilt have 6 minute levels, whereas the turbo 90's have 5 minute levels, so they pretty much play like turbos.

  9. You need over 1000 to have any sort of idea. I started sick hot in these also (I think 60% over my first 300). Just be prepared for the variance, I am in the midst of a giant downswing as we speak.

FWIW, I mix the 11s and 26s and 9 table them. PM me if you have any other questions.
