Didn't happen to me tonight, but all my big scores have happened early in the AM. I might have been talking to a friend or posting in PD but now i'm just sitting in the late night quiet with all kinds of different emotions. Wondering if anyone has any funny stories or late nite rituals about binking a big score in the wee hours of da morning.

watch some tv or netflixx to calm down and try to get to bed so that I can wake up and rinse/repeat

I usually go out to a 24 hour diner or something, have a nice meal and a drink or two to unwind. I find it much easier to sleep directly afterward that way.

Reason: I suck at poker -
I'm in the same boat as dag, haven't in forever. But my 5k score this feb was big for me and it was prob 4am as well, I put in a great comedy(Grandma's Boy) to unwind and went to sleep. Woke up the next day to grind and continue to contribute all my winnings back to the poker community like always.

my standard line is video games. Usually, when i get to a FT and im tired i allow myself to drink a can of money (redbull) so if i do win a big score on top of adrenaline from winning a MTT im wired on redbull.
I usually plan my video game (Heroes of newerth) and play very badly and feed and laugh at my teammate who think i care about causing the loss of my team. Then i passout round 7am when my gf gets up
gf': fou wtf u doing still up!!?!?!?!?!!?!? grrrr
fou : but..but.. but... meh have a good day at work for 14$hour im going to bed ( without saying the 14$part ) -
Immediately after claiming victory i usually do a couple of laps around the kitchen/my room/living room with my arms in the air displaying my triumph. Then I realize I look like a damned fool, and normally just pet the hell out of my cats and then go to bed..... Lol lame, but wish I was this lame more often.

I do a few shots as a light self celebration then pass out.

roll the old lady over and pound away. With all the adrenaline i have I usually last about 1-3 minutes and snap back to reality that I am not a superstar.

I wake my wife and wisper how much I won and hope it gets me laid but it usually doesn't. Then when I finally wake up at noon she ask did you win money or was that a dream. But really it does feel somewhat empty to feel like you accomplished something and realize everyone who cares is sleeping. It is always hard to fall asleep after and I usually don't get much sleep that night when I finally do. But sometimes I make more money in a day than my friends do in 8 months, and I don't even have to shower, and I get to sleep until noon so no complaints here.
