  1. Just looking for some input here this hand. I have trouble ranging opponents in this situation. Image = Tight (or it should be) Do we just Flat the 3bet and shove any non Ace non King flop OR do I ship it in??

OR - if my thought is way off, what should I be doing??

  2. If you don't have anything additional to add about the opponent, in a vacuum I have no qualms about getting 30bbs in with QQ here. His reraising range has to be absurdly small for this not to be a good spot to get your money in, and if you don't have notes or reads that he is insaaaanely tight, you can't fold here. Sorry you ran into the top of his range...

Also, remember that in $10 tournaments your image in the eyes of your opponents is generally irrelevant because most of them have not considered you at all. I have an ace and a jack, and they're sooted, I reraise even though my opponent has only raised twice in a week and both times were AA sooted is much more likely to be the thought process than "well, this opponent has been a rock and just opened, so I put him on 99+, AQs+, AKo and am 57.3% vs that range so I raise." I have a hard time folding big hands like this in these spots because of the number of times I see people turn up with KQo, A9, etc. If you're deeper, you can play postflop, but you absolutely cannot flat, have 1/3 of your stack in there, and then fold if an A or a K hits. That's spew. Commit the rest of your chips unless you absolutely know the opponent is so nitty the range has you crushed... and don't let the fact that it sounds like you ran into the top of his range lead you into making bad decisions in the future...
