    I did a quick search and didn't find any talk about these tourneys. I was just wondering what everyone thought of these tourneys. They are kind of odd but the structure leads to a lot of postflop play. Play gets pretty crazy in the early going as it doesn't make much sense to miss flops with the pot odds and only having to call 5 chips in any unraised pot. Deeper in the tourney of course players are working a lot harder to win the antes that are in the middle, and there's a bigger stress on preflop strategy..

    It's also a very fast structure though. I wish stars would offer this tourney with a slower structure and maybe 3000 chips to start, even though I've had some decent success with the current structure. Also the fields tend to be fairly small probably because of the lack of a guarantee.

    played in a couple but since i crazy multi table, i always f up, and don't pay attention to how high the antes get, and get super short w/o realizing it. also fold way too much pre when i'm getting sick odds to call. would be fun to try one of these when i'm actually paying attention.

    Yeah, like I said I searched and didn't find any threads. I mean I've been a user on here for a while and the forum police and all of that are not a big surprise.

    As for the constructive comments. I think these tourneys would not be so difficult if the antes didn't go up so fast. The couple of times I went deep in one of these I noticed the skill level went up quite a bit. If anything it's a weirdo structure that in the least is fun to play. But sorry that this is a rehash.
