  1. Okay, so I know its a grey area.....the first raiser I know is buyin and I am ready to hit call and the chip leader smooth calls...

I know its a 6 rebuy so the play isnt the best, but do you call here to triple up or fold to move up in money....The difference didnt matter to me as it was a small field and small buyin I only wanted 1st!

  2. Even though you would have won the hand, that is an easy fold IMO. I always like to push my case chips in, not call with them, especially with KJ.......

  3. I guess my question is

If I am going for the win, should I call or fold?

  4. This was an easy fold even if the other guy had not called. I don't mind a push for all your chips with KJ trying to pick up blinds but i hate calling off all your chips pre with KJoff
  5. Calling and or pushing is not a good play here... ask yourself this: would you even post this question here if there was an A on the board?
  6. Okay, so I did fold because I know that KJ isnt the best hand....But after the fold I was left with less than 3 M and forced to push anything in the next two or three hands.

Im cool with that usually, but was curious to if others choose to gamble here to go for the win with the 2 to 1 pot odds.

    thanks for the responses guys......

guess I wanted this to be more of a discussion and not about the results of the hand

  7. If semper also knew that jockey was stealing then he could easily have called with a hand weaker than yours or a pair tens and under. This has much more to do with your read on what type of player semper is. He isn't really smooth calling, since calling and pushing all in have the same result....he has you covered with a call, so regardless you are deciding for all your chips. So I guess the question you have to answer is: What hands would semper call with if he knew that jockey was stealing with any two cards. I don't have time to figure out the percentages, as my wife is waiting on me to leave (what else is new lol) but once u narrow down the hands semper would be calling with, then you assess your odds. Since you are only playing for 1st, this is prob the best opportunity before you get blinded out to get the chip lead and put you in great position to win it.
